? for those who know the law

I got a speeding ticket almost a month ago, I have been checking online to pay the fine, but heres the kicker the ticket says that it needs to be paid with in 30 days of being issued which is tomorrow, and it is still not in the system. Do the fuzz have to have the tickets in with in a certain time b4 they are void? I dont want my license to turn up suspended over this but I would like to use this possible loop hole to keep some Dead Presidents in my pocket. Any thoughts.

thats has happened to me twice and ive never had to pay them and when i called they said they had no record of it and that the trooper probably forgot to turn it in.....

id say you just got lucky... they did tell me to just make sure to keep checking online or over the phone because in florida they have either 60 days or 90 days to turn the ticket in....

id say he forgot and lost it

btw: i even have had a few run ins with the law after that so i know that the tickets never surfaced

Bro....from my experience...FVCK the ticket clinic....you pay them $60-$70 for them to show up to court for you, they plead not guilty in the hopes that the officer doesnt show. If the officer shows, they immediately change their plea to NO CONTEST and you still end up paying a lesser fine including court cost. You all can do the same $hit they do...ALl you gotta do is plead NO CONTEST. Thats what THEY do...trust me. No contest most of the time gets you a withold on adjudication(a non-conviction), no points and a lesser fine with court costs. This is, of course only for those of you with a DECENT driving record. If your sheet is 4534857487 pages long, then you might want mr. cochran on the case.

The only reason that I found it is cause there was mail coming to my house for lawyers with that name.

Then they spelled something right!

Don't just pay it, you're going to get points, go downtown and set it for court. Plea no contest at the pre-trial, and pay it next month.
