Im about to buy a used JL 250/1 - JL 12W3V2 / ZEnclosures box all for $400..

is that good deal? will that give some good bass but nothing crazy in my sedan?

 

A W3 is 'good' but I recommend a W6. 250 is a little underpowered. It sounds like a decent deal but you're not going to get a lot of bass out of one 12" sub in a Sedan. I had 3 12" W3V2's in my Audi and I upgraded to 3 W6's after two days.

 

i had a 500/1 with 2 12" w3v2's in my old whip and that **** pounded! depending on the condition of everything that seems like a pretty fair deal.
