Whats the best way of taking the stripe off?

 

I think its just a piece of vinyl so you should have the stuff you need to remove it around your house. Heat it up with a hair dryer and use a credit card w\ a piece of fabric(so you don't scratch) to get the peeling started...

 

i would have had the dealer take the pin stripe off before i took ownership....you can take it off with a blow dryer once you got one side peeled off the rest is cake. your car isnt that old so its not baked on yet.

 

lift the end and pull it off. use scratch x to remove any glue residue.

if it is painted on you will have to sand it off and buff the paint back up to a shine.

ps a poppop is a old man that likes dodge trucks with chrome step bars and a underside tailgate brake light. or they like 67 camaros all jacked up in the *** with little 15inch wheels

 

I have had the car for over year and 3 months, u think its baked in? THe car is only in the sun when at work, or doing errands, but garage kept all the rest of the time. WHen i did take off the INFINITI letters, there was some shaddow.

yes it will leave some marks where the strip was if it is a pull off strip. all you should have to do is wax it. but if it is painted on well that is a whole new thing
