hydrogen generation

Have you guys looked up anything on hydrogen generators? Try a search on utube its pretty funny. I see all the geeky people hooking these contraptions on tercels and small 4 bangers but I'm wondering about performance based vehicles. I'm wondering if there is any power loss. They say some vehicles have an increase in fuel economy of up to 80% (less fill ups) It might be geeky but if it works without complication I would probably try it. Tell me what you think.

H=Generators work REALLY WELL...but they are still a bit expensive and you need to have a decent amount to power your car.....i have been looking to get a setup for a few years now.....but havent come across a practical setup worth installing at home yet......my ears are open though!
