Over 1k but it involves all 3 parts of the manifold. Lower collector, lower manifold and then of course the cover. New gaskets and then you will need a tune cause the car drops off idle. There are threads about it on here. let me try to find them.

That is the furthest from the truth, as a welder the best weld is a strong weld, not the prettiest. Its all about the proper penetration and heat to join the metals causing an air tight bond, so this plenum will not leak or crack.

just a tid bit so you dont but your foot in your mouth anymore
