Call them and find out... I think they said they cover up to 100 or 200 miles, not sure which...

You will need to bring your car in for this. They can make you a key, but your car will need to be there to match up the chip in the key to your ignition. Just having a cut key alone will only get you into your car and turn on the accessories, but you won't be able to start her up.

grubbs infiniti is cutting my key for me.. so new key + cut = 70 shipped.

grubbs is awesome.

give the dealership your VIN# and they will cut the key and overnight it to you...G/L

I did NOT read past the first pages of posts and don't know if you resolved the issue but don't forget you CAN go to NISSAN and they will do the exact same thing. All the dealership does is take the vin verify your identification and ownership of the car punch a key and program it to the car itself. I worked at many nissan dealerships. Just stopped by the autoplaza to talk to my buddy about getting an extended for my car. He pulled my vin and pointed out if I can get the original owner to transfer the warranty I can probably pull off the whole deal for around a hundred bucks etc. My vin came up with my service history record. It will pull up at any nissan or infiniti dealership nationwide. Basically its a national database.
