This one was a bit out of the ordinary for me. My family has taken over my garage at home and left me with a laughable amount of space to work in.Instead, my trusty friend Adam (Gravedigginaditch) offered me his garage space to work in. Not only did he deliver a large amount of space to work in, he also provided his buckets, halogens, and even gave a very helping hand throughout the detail washing, claying, and even polishing the paint. With my guidance, Adam was even able to grab my rotory and knock out a few swirls on a verticle panel, so kudos to Adam for being such a good friend.
As you will see, this car was no BMW M3, but it definately was worth it nough to the owner to purchase one of my services. The car was generally clean, not crazy amounts of sap or tar, just loads of swirls and Cat scratches on certain panels. 2 steps were required with some heavy compounding on certain areas. I didn't bring my own camera, instead used my sister's cam, so the pics werent too great, and the weather was mucky and overcast, raining toward the end leading to no outside after shots. But, the job was not to take pics, it was to correct and refinish the owners paint, which i feel was documented wonderfully, thanks to Adams for chasing me around with a camera, and pushing me to showoff more of my work.
Paint was washed via Turtle Wax Ice, rinsed, and foamed again to provide lube for claying. Compounded heavier area like the rear 1/4 panel (cat scratches) and trunk lid with Meguiars #95 Speed Cut via Yellow pad @ 1200rpm. The whole car was then polished with SIP via white pad @ 1500rpm, and finished finally with 106ff and a grey finishing pad @ 1200rpms.Decided to top it with Nattys Blue for personal preference.
Before

During- washing, polishing, etc

\After compounding those nasty areas

Afters

Along with my morning breakfast at home, I still found just enough time throughout my detail to scarf all my meals I prepared the night before.
Enjoy!
