Yeah man...looks like all your tread came completely off. Talk about tire failure. You should show these pictures to Bridgestone and as a comparison... take a picture off the other side.

Looks just like what happens to trucks when they are running retreads and the tires blow out.

i thought about pursuing some sort of legal action towards bridgestone. something about the way this whole thing happened made me think that the tire failed somehow. i'd be happy with them just paying my deductible. how would you guys recommend i go by it?

Dude u should deff talk to Bridgestone about it because the same **** just happened to a friend of mine with tires that were less then 6 months old. The guy told him the tires were fine, and then 2 days later, the tread blew off just like yours. He was driving on 95 at like 70mph. Luckily he didnt crash.

I had issues with my bridgestones, freakin tread was gone in less then 10k miles, and when i got nail in it, the ROADSIDE insurancce i pay for WOULDNT PAY for it becasue my TREAD WAS TOO LOW. FREAKIN BS. I know have 2 new tires on my rears and one has a leak, so its back to bridgestone/ firestone for me tom. Good luck Julio.

Wow that is insane, good thing it wasn't raining. I wouldn't have that tire discarded it could be valuable to the manufacturer. Did you happen to notice the TPMS come on before it popped or no?

not really, but today when i was riding to work in my truck, i saw the entire tread that came off sitting on the left side of the palmetto going northbound by the coral way exit. i'm gonna see if i can pick it up tonight. could help out my dispute.

that tire must have blew out so hard for it to damage your rear bumper like that

i've seen other cars tires blow out, never have seen so much damage to the actual car

this def looks like a tire that was re-threaded, if not then bridgestone makes some crappy tires

SOY UN LOCO.

i had some free time from work so i figured, eh what the hell, i'll go and try to scoop up the remans of the tire now. so i'm heading down the palmetto and i spot the road rangers picking up the tire on the other side, and i'm like noooooo...my proof! i got on the northbound asap and i talked him into giving me my tire back. the tire never split. the entire tread came off and its like holding a tire without the sidewalls. i'll post up pics today

ok, called bridgestone. explained what happened and theyre gonna send out a box to my house so i can ship out the blown out tread so they can inspect it and write me a check to cover the damages. i want to get this fixed for free since it's clearly not my fault.

Bridgestone/Firestone Tires, one company. Firestone synonymous with SUV tire blow outs.

im getting shafted by everyone at the moment.
1) car is done at the body shop, except it's rolling on the spare.
2) i contacted easy care to find out whos going to get me a new tire so i can have my car out today...they dont seem to comply
3) i contacted south motors infiniti...only to be transferred to finance like 20 times because the receptionist doesnt understand the word "service" and when i finally got through to service i had the guy tell me a story how easy care works and how he has it on his car.

as it stands right now, im about to start stabbing people
