Escobar... I was hitting a consistent 400 miles per tank. I arrived back on sunday morning with half a tank and had accumulated 193 miles. Now that I am back in the city stop and go I am back down to 14.5 MPG. I truely did not expect to pull that kind of mileage I would have been fine with 22 but to hit 27 and maintaining 70 - 75 with the a/c on. I'm still in shock.

As stated. I went on a short drive back in Janurary drove to Vegas and back but was unable to make it to Colorado Springs due to snow. Well my best friend has decided to venture out to St Petersburg with her friend to go to the grand prix race and make a week out of it. I was successful in negotiating the time off from work and now I am going to rack up a couple minutes drive to visit. I only managed to log 6400 miles in Janurary so whats another five hundred.

I will probably arrive around 6 or 7 pm but no real plans other then some track time and water play and maybe even some real estate hunting.

Well I went and did it again. Decided to go for another drive ended up in Key West. Road traffic was not too bad. Its been a while since my last venture down. Went this time since my sister is in town and she has never been to Key West. Only saw two cops there and back. It really does make a substantial difference on what day of the week you travel.

Oh yea drove to Jupiter last week to have lunch with a buddy. Had a garter snake crawl up my leg while sitting in his back yard on the lounge chair f***er made me scream like a girl because I felt it before I ever saw it.

Add to that I was stung by a black bee yesterday while showing my sister sobe teach me to have the sun roof open.

 

As if I haven't done enough driving this year. I am headed to Ft Worth tonight after I get off work. No I am not taking my car. I will be flying to Houston Wednesday afternoon and spend the rest of the week there being irresponsible before flying back here on next monday.
