Anyone know how to install belts?

My belts (drive or serp) are worn out and squeeking. I bought the belts and thought I could do it myself. I forgot about that pulley tool you need. LOL

Any good bros know how to do this and have that tool? Or any mechanics that can install it for cheap. Im in palm beach/jupiter.

Thanks

No pulley tool is needed, just loosen the jam nut on the tensioner pulley, then release the tension, install new belt, tension, tighten jam nut. 15 min job.

Danny don't forget the other 15 minutes that it takes to remove the 30+ screws holding the air damn. Oh and if your car is lowered I would suggest running it up on some 2x10 boards.

A couple sets of 10 and 12 mm sockets one short one deep of each and about 30 minutes of your time. You should be good to go. As a safety note if your feeling unsure use a permanent marker to make a line mark on the tension bolts that you can visually see so that you will not overtighten the belts or undertighten them for that matter. I usually mark the threads at the point of contact.

I actually do not pull the airdam off, to much work... It can all be done from the top if the motor is cool. It is easier if you pull the airdam off if you have never done it tho.
