im trying to come up on some drag radials before then. ran my boys drag radials at homestead speedway and wow what a difference coming off the line on the juice

Danny, i dont know if you have anything worked out yet but i wana do it big for this event. i havent ran the sedan since countyline and that was a 9.401 spinning 1st and a little of 2nd. if i can borrow some DR's for PBIR im down for a pass or two.

on another note, i am willing to bring my big cooler filled with drinks (water, soda, beer???) if thats allowed. also, whats morosos policy on alcohol? can you even get a DUI on a track? lol. i got some chairs i can bring.

also, being the photographer and all, im excited about maybe doing some rolling shots. only real way id be able to do it is if at the meeting spot someone wants to drive my car from there to the track, of course youd have to be a pasenger in someone elses car or else whos gona drive your car. id also be setting up at PBIR and photographing anybody whos running their cars and our spot in general.

im sure im leaving stuff out, this is just whats been going through my mind lately.

I don't think you can bring beer and alcohol in to PBIR but I could be mistaken. I can't wait to see what kind of pictures you are going take but I'm sure either way they'll be awesome. I think I'll be the only non G in the group :-(

Robert.... Thank you for the interst I am glad some others are getting excited about this as well.

1. About the drag radials, I personally do not have any to let you borrow. I am going to be honest tho, countyline's track does not hook like PBIR especially if you went to countyline a while ago... Big mike tells me the re-did the track and it is better etc...
We will bring tools incase any one is using DR's and is willing to share.

2. Coolers are a yes, beer is a maybe.... I know they sell it there but if you are racing that is a 100% absolute no. They strictly enforce that and I will not have any of our guys racing and drinking.

3. I am sure that we will have some passengers, that can drive at times etc to get some rolling shots, also the road B-line highway is pretty dead on the way there so we can go slow and get some nice shots...
I am hoping my brother is wanting to go, he is also a photog / video production major. Hopefully I can con him into making us some sort of youtube video about the event.

As this getts closer I will confirm but, UPR and Madmods will be attending the event as well. A good chance to meet some local shops and talk with them.

 

sounds good danny. and of course a big no-no to drinking and then running. if mike is right about the track, i might try it with my mickey mouse tires. hopefully more people get excited about this. ill let a couple g owners down here know if they want to come.

it would be great to have your brother make a video of some sort. we did that at an srt-4 meet last year, pictures and then video, turned out pretty good minus the skittles

finally, im gonna look around the house and see what i can gather that will be beneficial to the meet, i.e. chairs, maybe umbrellas, tents, etc. multiple coolers. i guess half reason why im excited is it will be my first time going to moroso/pbir ever.
