jersey sports bar meet
Cool, i'd be down to hit that up after 10, would be cool to get to know other G owners and get good advice on how to go about modding my G. Got it YESTERDAY and its like a dreeeeam.... Well not really but a badass car!
Post pics!
Ok i think i got a pic posted not sure if it went thru yet, but took it out for a spin today aside from driving it home from the dealer yesterday and meng this baby is faaast stock... hit 120 with ease on i-75... Really would like to hook up with other G owners to get advice on how to go about modding my g... And i'd also like to apologize in advance for the hundreds of posts im going to make as im new and everything about this car fascinates me.. first question! As i got onto the 75 ramp i decided to take the curb pretty hard and it kinda slipped on me and on the dash kept blinking slip, im assuming thats not good so i either have to change my style of driving or upgrade those parts as well... I'd really like to start off with a set of nice forged staggered wheels and upgrade the entire suspension... any suggestions?
the dash is just telling you just that. That your reend is slipping. You'll see that because your traction control is on. If you turn it off then you won't see that anymore but on rainy days what you will see is the guard rail so don't turn it off unless you must.
I used to see it also when I shift too fast and my rear tires cut loose a lil. It would also shut down for a second until me rear tires got grip again and then it will start again.
My slip light has only come on once when I did donuts in a parking lot but it went away once I turned the car off and turned it back on. Definitely don't turn VDC off when it's raining. I usually leave VDC on unless I'm at the track. Or doing said donuts.
Just a heads up when VDC is off, be careful and if you do, do something to make the car slide make sure you know, once the nanny is off(well its not fully off but you know what I mean) it wont save your *** if you do something stupid.
