Concealed Hitch for coupe

Im going to be fabricating a hitch for my coupe to pull my ski. It will not be visible when disconnected ..unlike the ones that are sold that when tounge is disconnected the receiver is visible, and also i will be making it so that no hacking of bumper is required.
I will be posting pictures of it when i start. Trying to have it done before the weekend, I hope all goes as planned and also trying to get my carb on the ski tunned, if anyone out there know about carbs will appreciate some help.

Let me know what you guys think, also once i have mine done sucessfully, I will not mind making a few extra units for ppl interested.

Bumper comes off with 4 10mm bolts on the inside of the trunk, and a few clips, also need to take out the tails 3 nuts per light

Took the bumper off today at work. A little harder than I expected but got it done..

There are 4 (10mm) bolts inside the trunk that hold the bumper 2 on each side.

Then there are 4 more (10mm) outside, one on each side inside the wheel well where the tip of the bumper (where quater panel meets bumper), and one on either side down underneath near the exhaust tips.

There are also 2 clips between the exhaust tips. After that is just taking the lights out like GreenGoblin said, 3 nuts I believe they are 8mm i didnt have a deep well socket in 8mm so i used a 5/16 deep well with no problem, also a matter of unclipping the bumper there are 2 red clips near the trunk latch that are a pain in the *** if you dont know how to take em out, I sacraficed one to find out how to take it out but no big deal.

So after all was unmounted there is an aluminum plate i took it off (2, 10mm bolts) to take the measurement necessary. Behind the plate there are 4 holes pre drilled from factory, i did my schematics/blue-print, to then deciding to take the hole bumper support off (4, 12mm nuts) to make it easier and more precise, I put the bumper cover back on without the rest of stuff.

Tommoro will be the day i will start cutting the materials plate square tubing etc.

Pictures below are what Curt sells for close to $200, but the bottom portion of it will always be visable, which is what i dont want. So basicaly its gana look like if i cut off the part where the tounge goes into the receiver, and made that detachable.

Got the ski runing awsome and ideling like a champ, BUT then when i hooked up the flush kit to show my boss how it was runnig and tried to start it again... nothing, turened over but no fire

2nd try same thing.. 3rd try didnt turn over then my my boss saw water coming out of the carb...= not good, so I took the plugs out and they were socked. I then cranked it without the plugs and it shot water out of the spark plug holes like a fire hose.

I took the carb out and cracked the motor (with lube) enough so that it will get rid of all or most of the water, it finally came down to= a water line hooked up at the wrong spot lol sucks BIG TIME so engine coming off tomorow I will be flushing it and drying it off with air and tearing carb and cleaning it, the dropping motor in again and fireing her up once again..

So this un-expected major problem will be holding up my fabrication.. but bought the material today.
