Want you guys to take a look and tell me what you think...

Hey all, i wanted to share something with you guys. This has been bothering me for quite sometime. Most of you dont know this, but i used to own a 2008 Lancer GTS, before i bought my G. I had done about $5k worth of work to it, and it came out pretty dope. I was on the Lancer forums (projectlancer.net) for a looong time. I still am an active member in the community.

Recently, a lancer owner purchased and installed the G35 specific 19" Rays on his White lancer. Here is a pic of his car.

I am curious to know what the G35 community thinks about it.

First off, let me clarify, this is not my car.

Second, his fenders are Wrapped in CF. Very ****ty thing imho.

Also, im not so much worried bout the LOOKS but the PRACTICALITY of a Staggered set of RWD wheels designed for a specifc car being on a FWD car.

I think the wheels look pretty good. Staggered isn't "practical" on a fwd... but most of the things we do are not "practical". Slamming your ride so it scrapes on a pebble isn't practical but it looks sick!

looks ok i guess. awd is more rwd biased so i dont see the staggered being that horrible. just means he cant rotate which isnt very smart. and the cf wrapped fenders looks absolutely retarded.

Its FWD not AWD. This is the regular 2.0, not hte Evo .

I always thought the EVO AWD system was FWD based, but the ratio is 50/50 on newer models, 65/35 on older models that never hit the States?

Either way, you don't want to stagger wheels on an AWD.

the fenders look stupid, but i like how the Rays 19s look on there, seen it on a lot of nissan's though never a lancer. have them painted black and if he's still rocking the infiniti center cap (cant tell in the pics) then major fail
