Jose, supposedly there is a map of all these hidden "red light" cameras on the net somewhere. Will have to look. They are not to be confused with the regular traffic cameras.

 

Theres also an app supposedly that can view the images portrayed on a given camera in the vicinity. Dont know if this is true tho.

Wow. You're right, you really blew that one. Seems like you could have seen the yellow waaaay back and started slowing - did it catch you off guard?

Probably a good choice not to over-react and go sideways thru the intersection. While it would have been funny as h3ll (what the h3ll was THAT as you go sliding by) - it could have been bad news.

At least no one got hurt.

 

Just plain stupidity on my part. From what I think I remember, I was behind some slow pokes and when I darted to the next lane to pass them, the light changed. By then it was too late.

 

TAKE IT TO COURT! Tell them you wanted to hire a photographer for cheap & that was the best you could find.

Best practice: As you approach the intersection and see yellow, it's time to apply brakes.. slow down and come to a stop.. If you decide to go through, you may kill yourself and or others or you may just get a ticket. Why we need to know where these cameras are..
