Quote: If telling someone not to lie to a cop, which could lead to way more trouble than the little problem he has now, then yeah I'm a choir boy. If it ends bad for the OP he can't say he wasn't warned.
If cops werent complete jerks about EVERYTHING, then i would say to take the high road as well. Even the cop who stopped me gave me 3 tickets (1 for tinted tails, 1 for speeding, another for 8ks), i took off everything legit and claimed it. Im going back with tinted tails, so if it happens again, i aint going through the hassle of removing it again for no reason. If they can be seen, theres nothing wrong with it in my book.

Plus with the amount of tickets cops make up as they go along, integrity doesnt come into play. When a woman DOESNT gets tazed infront of her kids for no reason, we can talk about integrity. Or when video surveilance video from a troopers vehicle appears the same day, showing evidence of brutality, rather than a year later, then intergrity would be an issue.

X x10, do as you wish, but Candlestick is right, beware of the consequences of getting caught.

cops play by their own rules, they can care less about the validity of their actions, if they think they can get away with what their going to do, they'll do it, do the same.

Thats hardly the case here, you went to watch street races where cops are known to crack down. You just got caught at the wrong time.

But even that is wrong. Sure, cracking down in those areas fine, i support that. You go where there is trouble. However, giving EVERY bloody car a ticket because he has a modification done to his car, that aint right. Thats like going to a modded car show and starting to give tickets out to all the spectators and show cars. Lowering your suspension doesnt affect ANYONE other than the driver. Doesnt make you faster, doesnt make public disturbance noises, it is (for the majority of owners) a cosmetic add on. And personally, if all of these things were TRULY illegal, instead of hounding us car modders, they should go after the companies making it. Of course, this is a whole other debate.

Well next time you will do like mike, yordes and i always did. Just park and walk inside the store. Then stay in there till they leave ( no matter how long it takes) Otherwise deal with what your dealing with. They are looking for the worst attitude for giving tickets. I usually greeted them when the came up and had no problem. Its all about playing the game at that point. As for the situation you are in now? I would contact eli (r1ricer) and see if he has a stock muffler and see if you can use it for your correction picture. Talk soon mike

Lol Pssh, Mike always hopped in his car n got da hell out son, wit my record they'd be itching to stack on da tickets...
Sunoco is not really a race spot, it's just where cars go to hang out n sum stupid ppl start driving crazy n few races... Most of the racing is done down by the bend on Okeechobee or further north at "New Mexico"... Cops just tryna be dicks as always and ruin what is normally a good time because it's too much ppl and they're young ppl also.
OP by any means necessary!

I recently was pulled over in my 240SX for not having the OEM Exhaust system on the car. I was cited and I took it to court. I took my receipt for the correction an the ticket was thrown out of court. Officers and court officers do not have the time to inspect to see if the modifications have been corrected. Good Luck
