Ok so i bought some headlights but they are halogen (h1 bulb) and i have the stock hids on my car (d2r bulb) so i was thinkin can i buy h1 hid bulbs , cut the wires from them , cut the wires from my stock d2r bulbs , and put them together so they work with the stock ballast, that way i have h1 hids. Would this work? I dont wanna go thru the mission in buying new ballast and all that stuff.

All you have ot do is replace the adapter from D2S to H1.

I'm lost. Why did you buy stock halogens when you already HID's? If it was because you needed new lenses then you can just bake the headlights and swap the lenses.

 

yeah for the lenses, i opened my stock ones to clean the inside,
to make the story short i ended up spraying windex inside cus my mom told me and fuked everything up. -___-
so yeah i dont wanna go thru the mission in baking them and all that stuff.
