Colored dome lights......too Ricey?

Colored dome lights......too Ricey?

Pretty much what the title says...has anybody seen a G with colored dome/map lights or with colored courtesy lights? It prob looks too ricey...but im not sure...opinions?

i have vleds in there. white with blue tint to match my 6000k hids

any other color would be ricey IMO unless you have a show car and enter things like HIN or whatever

ya thats what i was thinking....either like super white leds or maybe even some red ones but i dont want to cheapen the look of the g

what size are they and how do you open the courtesy lights.

snap the plastic cover off carefully with a flathead wrapped in some thin/soft cloth

Lol come on guy, do you really need to make sure its 'ok' before you do a mod?

It's your car, mod it to your taste. If some of the things you think look cool fall into the 'ricey' category then fvck it.

Do it. I went amber with for my courtesy lighting when the doors open and it looks great at night. Bright enough to see, but still kind of ominous. Only difference is I have the dual-function LED conversion so my map lights are still white. That might be a pain if you don't get enough light at those times.

i bought my leds from v-leds.com

replaced everything with bright white led except the courtesy lights. I got blue.. Its not ricey at all.. It looks nice and soothing. It sets a mood in your car. IMO!! its just wutever you like

exactly which one did u get???
for courtesy light and map light, super blue 9 led dome light or super blue high power led bulb or hid white 9 led dome light??

I got the super Blue 9 led dome lights for the courtesy light. You ve got to play with the cover for the lights to show its full potential
