The lower collectors that I got from RebelinRI and installed looks like the one on the MotorDyne website. MotorDyne.com. That why I thought it was real, I don't know that Tony had a fake MREV2 picture on the site, until now.
Even with the poor quality cell phone pic you took of what you got, vs. what you have pictured above, it is quite evident that what you have is not a real MREV2.

I'm only the reseller of it. You know I'll give you your money back. I'd want my money back too in your case. Now Tony's going to argue that I'm offering you your money back to hide and play games. Sorry but that's not me. When you return it............ I'll DESTROY it and post a video of it. That's why I asked you to mark it so I can show proof that it has in fact been destroyed. That way no one else will doubt it forever. Makes sense? So whenever you're ready in the new year, let me know. Sorry again.

For those who can't see the difference, I've made it clearer
Here is citymunky's "MREV2" fake lower plenum, notice that the two front runners are machined flat with you rounding on the edges, they are sharp

While here is a real MREV2 where the edges of the machining are rounded

thanks to whomever circled the red lines on there it makes credible before what words could no describe clearly.

citymunky's clearly does not look like an MREV2 but rather a plain non-revuplower collector. the M-R1 noted on the side is an obvious giveaway.

boooooo for RebelinRI for selling it as an MREV2.

After I installed my "MREV2"and when for a quick spin, I thought to myself this can't be what everybody been talking about. I have read countless threads here and on every other 350Z/G35 forums around, and everybody said the difference is like day and night. I don't "feel" much of anything, than I thought besides my flywheel, I don't feel much anything after all my other bolt-ons. So I never questioned it, until Tony PM'ed me. Fake PARTS FTL

Any plenum modified by MOTORDYNE is called an MREV2...

If someone else wants to try and modify it on their own, they should sell it as "THEIR OWN" name...

The MREV2 name is a MOTORDYNE product...

If the name is used to sell a similar product it is false advertising and mis-use of a hopefully copyrighted and trademarked name.

MOTORDYNE uses a single specific machine shop and they are modified the same way every time.

It does not suprise me that a company is modifying stock non-rev-up lower plenums and marketing them as a "Motordyne" product. Its the auto industry and there is always going to be knock offs out there...

Best thing you can do is purchase from the manufacturer its self or a REPUTABLE vender, someone who has been around for a while, someone who isnt going anywhere...

Jonathan,
Thank you for taking the time to open up your plenum and take pictures .

The supposed "MREV2" RebelinRI sold you is 100% Phony.

Its not even a good job. It looks like a lazy excuse to make a fast buck. I would estimate that lower plenum only has about 30 minutes worth of work put into it.

No finishing work. No machine work on the other (un named runners). No re-contouring. No buffing. No edge breaking. No refinishing of any kind.

It's a quick and dirty knock off.

Sorry you had to go through this.
PM me your adress. I'll send you a real one for all your trouble.

Tony
----

To everyone,

Please remember these pictures. Fluid dynamically it is entirely incorrect. A real MREV2 will never look like this.

Tony

--------

Moderators and Admin,

If you have any questions at all about the pictures I sent in previously. Please let me know.

The pictures are pretty much self explanatory.

Tony

Thanks Jason,

Yes, it is fully copyright, trademark and patent pending protected.

Not exactly true… spacers are spacers, there were also different versions of the lower collector called, MREV, then MREV+ and now MREV2… also, there is the IsoThermal product…

Not trying to start a debate… I just didn’t want a noob to read this thinking that all plenum mods by Motordyne are MREV2s. Maybe it’s simpler to say all Motordyne lower collectors (lower plenum assembly) currently in production are MREV2s.
