My day @ Riverside Infiniti - A Pleasant Surprise (56K'ers GO AWAY!)

Some of you may know that I have been talking about getting a set of nice BBK for a while, but I just could not justify the cost of them. Unlike Terry, I am not loaded (I'm still a student!), but I respect the guy. His car was actually my inspiration for modding my car and still is. Heck, our cars even share the same color.

Long story short, I got my BBK, but they're not Stoptech, Endless, Tommy Kaira, nor AP Racing. Like I said, I'm still a student. Thus, I got myself a very conservative YET very nice G37S Akebono BBK. The configuration for the setup is 4 piston front calipers and 2 piston rear calipers. The rotor sizes are 14 inches up front and 13.8 inches for rear.

You can find my other TEST FIT thread here: https://g35driver.com/forums/v36-brakes-suspension-wheels-tires/209237-g37-sport-big-brake-kit-07-g35-sedans.html

I give my sincerest and utmost gratitude to Tony at Riverside Infiniti. This wouldn't have been possible if he didn't push this project through. I thank you very very much for everything, Tony!

If any of you is interested in this BBK, please contact Tony@RiversideInfiniti. He is going to hook everyone up for the forum price.

Now, I've only driven less than 100 miles since they installed it so I cannot tell you very detailed review, but what I can tell you is that.... this brake is 100% functional! I played around a little bit after I came outta the dealership (about 10 hard brake without activating the ABS), and I did not smell anything nor feel any fading, and the stopping power has definitely been improved! Overall, I am one happy **** today. Hahaha

I will be taking my car to a few canyon runs and track meets in the near future and plan to use my new brake to the fullest, and I will definitely do a better review when that happens.

Ok, enough talking, here are the pictures that I took after I got home.... ENJOY!

For anyone who is interested in purchasing my stock SPORT brake, I'm selling them in the for sale section of this forum. Please check them out.

At least he's comfy taken the pic!! Love the wheel/brake combo.... I want those wheels so bad, but I keep being told it is a 10 week lead time.
