First off, hats off to all the NYC G35's out there because we have definitely came a long way from 2003 to the present. Next off congrats to all the members who have helped to get GSquad through the past four years. Without you guys we would definitely not be here.

Now on to the agenda: Where are the GSquad meets?

Well I stated it in an earlier thread but for the record this year we are a little late in terms of organizing our meet agenda for this season. Usually by now we would have had the anniversary meet and the spring cruise. However as stated we are running late. We were scheduled to have the BBQ this Sunday but that is now being pushed to Saturday June 7,2008. We will need a little more time to plan better and ensure that we have enough people to actually make this happen.

Therefore this Friday (May 30,2008) we will be having a meet at the Francis Lewis meet spot and may a cruise out somewhere local. A sign up thread will be posted for both the BBQ and this week's meet on Friday.

As for upcoming it goes as follows:

1. May 30, 2008 - Francis Lewis Waldbaums Meet
2. June 7, 2008 - Anniversary BBQ
3. June 21, 2008 - Hot Import Nights @ Belmont Park
4. Photoshoot Meet - Date, Photographer, and Locations to be determined.
5. Long Island Cruise Run - Date TBD
6. NYC City Run - Date TBD

Along with the above there will be misc. meets that will be taking place throughout the season. However along with roling out meets, we are asking for participation. We have a dedicated group, but for guys who haven't come out in a while it would be cool to see you guys out. Also, G Squad meets are not exclusive to just G Squad members. All NYC G's are welcome, however we ask that you please be responsible and mindful of everyone who is around you. A vehicle can be used can be dangerous if used improperly. We will not be held responsible for anyone doing anything ignorant with their vehicle. At the end of the day we just want to have good and safe time.

G Squad is no longer a meet based club. Although thats what we started as, its become a friendship as well. Therefore, even if we didn't have as many meets as we did last year the club still wouldn't die. If I missed all the meets this year I'd still not taking my G Squad decal off because I belong to this club. So don't panic but if a wake up is need then please do so.

The Long Island cruise was fun and the city run was crazy last year. Vin we gotta talk about the city run.

 

When is the date set for the BBQ? My car needs some finishing touches.

The date was pushed for the bbq due to members not being able to make it. We'll have a pre-HIN meet next weekend. The bbq will be after HIN.
