No, I will only pay 45% and the sponsering company will pay for 55% of the total product price. They also pay for the install charges and entry fee into any competition that i chose. Not a bad trade considering the i get a 55% discount on the items for a total of $12000 in expenses.

I will find out, i talked to the sponser today and i sounds pretty good. I will see the contract in about 2wks. Now i will call latter to find out more information.

yup...i know the sponosr you are talking about...
damn...forgot the website. but you give them a upfront fee of like $45 or $85. This is the cost of setting up the contract. After that, they'll refund the cost of the application fee on your first purchase.
if this is the same group...be careful. i talked to the guy on the phone and it seemed kind of fishy. They say you have to order from their product catalog, which they say is extensive. I asked them if the sold Volk wheels and they said yes.
I asked him, as an example, how much I could get Volk GT-7s for through this sponsorship. Surprise surprise, he said that they do carry the volks, but the computer was not bringing up the prices.
i asked him about a website I can look to research about the company and he said there wasn't one.
if this is a true sponsorship, why the hell are they charging you an application fee? as sponsors, can't they cover those fees themselves?
make sure you're comfortable with their answers before forking any money over.

I call B$ too.. I was in the audio business for 10 years and when ANY manufacturer sponsored someone all they got was equipment. NEVER NEVER do they send a check..
The would reimburse entrance fees AFTER you sumbit receipts for it. Come man, wake up... what makes you special? Most major sponsorships go to employees of the highest performing dealers.... The only thing individuals get is half off retail... never any cash.

i know where this came from .. i to did get a sponsership but i declinded it i heard all this was BS i posted it on all forums regarding the company..and anyways i can get parts cheaper then what the company can get them from ..the company is called RACER X ..

Heres the link. It's called sport compact pro. It costs $85. They say parts are up to 55% off. Thats how they get you. Some parts are cheaper, but most parts are like $2 off. I wouldn't even suggest getting their sponsorship.
