Well it's supposed to do a bunch of things:

- Keeps exhaust heat in, makes gases flow better out the rear end

- Should help reduce drone noise from the exhaust

- for me personally it's to reduce any heat coming from the exhaust when I open my door and just sit there, Hopefully it'll help me out there. I just wish I did it to my HFC's but they're already on and I'm not arsed to take them out

I agree. I would suggest buying these parts from Lou directly, if not just because he's the one that put in the effort with Invidia to get these new parts designed.

Did Lou mention when he would have the parts available?

Defintely keep us updated once he gets back to you with a price on the resonated y-pipe. I want them too!

Would the resonated y pipes cause more restriction?

Just ask Lou@Amplified if he has the new cat-back in stock and make an order through him if he does.

huh ok I'm a bit confused now, this is what I sent Lou a few days back and his response:

---------------------------------------------------------------------

"Hi there Lou,

I've got a 2008 G35 Sedan and I've already got the Invidia Q300 exhaust. I just wanted to ask how much the new re-designed X pipe is? and do you also offer selling the new resonators for the Invidia Q300 separately as well? if so how much would they cost?

---------------------------------------------

Hi Mazin

I don't have the pricing on the y pipe with resonators, not till next week. The x pipe is $120 plus shipping. Shipping for the x pipe is $15.00 but im sure you'd rather get them shipped together"

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Now what do you guys understand by his reply?

If I understand him correct, you can order the new xpipe from him but they are not selling the entire system with the new parts. I just ordered the catback today and can't wait! Should be here by end of week since i'm 1 state away.

Hey Robby, you still running the new x pipe? Any new impressions, now that you've had it for a couple days? Are you getting that same vq sound as the g37 coupes?
