Large gap between fender and bumper - easy fix?

There's a pretty large gap between the fender and bumper on by 04 coupe. You can see some hardware through the gap as well. Other side is perfectly lined up. All stock parts. Anyone know if this is an easy fix, and if so, how?

Yer gonna have to take the bumper off and bend all the mounting points back to normal (both fender and bumper bracket/mounts). Looks like it went over a parking curb and bent it when you backed up. It's never gonna be fully flush again unless you get a new bumper, so I'd do the best you can and then find some kind of clip or clamp to hold it close from the inside.

or you can take it to a body shop and have them do it if you are not mechanically inclined.

Thanks guys. I've taken the bumper off before to install the 06 lights.

Is it possible the mounting clip is broken and/or needs to be replaced? I know nothing about the parts holding the 2 together.

That depends; how did this happen?

It's basically a metal lip on the bumper, and a metal lip on the fender. The fender side has two plastic pieces like a wall anchor that the screws drive into, and there are 2 screws on each side.

I can't imagine that either of the brackets are actually broken, but it may be possible that the plastic anchor is stripped. I do doubt that too tho and think simply that the brackets are bent.

Not sure how it happened, likely from the previous owner. Thanks for the help, I'll see if I can bend the brackets so at least it's less noticeable.

You don't need to remove the front bumper to fix that, you'll be able to sort it out by removing the front half of the wheel arch liner or at least unclipping the front part of it.
Those oem fasteners are crap so you could use something like an M8 bolt and nyloc nut with 2 large penny washers to clamp them together which would also keep the mount point on the fender flat and prevent it from bending downwards like it has, and add a bit of thin foam tape or equivalent between the bumper and fender to stop chafing if you were being fussy about it. That's what I did on my old S15 and I've done the same on my V35.
