My 2005 rev up came with several mods. One being the plenum spacer. I just read about needing a non rev up lower plenum for it to make a difference. Is there a way to identify if I all ready have the lower non rev up plenum?
Because the most beneficial mod to pair to a rev up is the mrev2 which if it came with "several mods" would've been told to you like the spacer was mentioned to you. That being the case, there still is a chance one is on there and you'd have to remove the upper plenum and take a pic of the lower plenum and send that to tony at motordyne to confirm if you have an mrev2 or not
to get a prelinimary idea look at the length of the runners. then if yours are longer look to see if the tops of any of them are shaved (longer ones are from the nonrev). if they are, contact tony to see if you have an authentic mrev2
For a car that I got cheap from a tow yard, this is turning out to be a pretty good deal. The other mods that were on it are Stillen Z Tube, Motodyne spacer, Mishimoto oil catch can and coolant reservoir, and JWT clutch and lightened flywheel.
I did call but I spoke to a woman. She tried to look up the old owner who put all the mods on the car but her records didn't go back that far. She did say that the front chambers would be grinded down. They appear to be but not as much as in the picture cakestar posted
