G35 interior light change (orange to white)

I have searched. The only person I am aware of doing this is "accordfreak" in 2004. I am aware that changing the LED lights for the dome, trunk etc are not that hard. However, I am interested in changing the lights for the AC, clock and gauges.
And would like to know people that have changed that colors and grabs some tips from them.

plcc2 leds for the ac control, gauge cluster, window controls, and heated seat switches. for the gauge cluster you will need to get a custom gauge face because it is actually tinted orange that you cannot get off without ruining the entire gauge face. for the radio they are 0805 leds. i am assuming you are proficient with a soldering iron

Thank you cakestar this is exactly what I wanted. I will try and do this this weekend and post pictures once completed.

Yeah I have opened it up and it seems a little harder for me. What I might do is actually get a friend to do this for me. I don't really want to make a mistake.

Yeah I hate the orange color. I also hate the G35 steering wheel. I might buy a G37 steering wheel instead.
I wish it possible to just get a G37 cluster as well and just install it in.

the steering wheel included an airbag? if it was just the wheel you can actually get them for much cheaper than 150$.
gauge cluster cannot be swapped. closest anyone got was sexyrob:

he got some of it somewhat functioning but in the end he could not make it work, i have a feeling it might have been a nats issue though, if you disable nats it might actually have a chance
