i was but seems like bigger project then I can handle
thinking to either get the Chargespeed or stick with OEM still on the fence.

but just to clarify they arent as easy of an install as the sedan ones

just to give a little insight. for the sedan ones you can just switch the bases because the angle of the holes on the bases are different. on the coupe the actual arms of the mirrors are angled differently and the bases are the same with the us version so switching the bases does not work. what i did is filled in the holes on the base and built up a little wall and drilled new holes so the mirrors are sitting at different angles. if you dont do this even with the mirrors maxed out they will be utterly useless.

for the folding function you just need to extend two additional wires to each mirror so you will need to drill a small hole in the door wire molex to run the wires.

So the base doesn't sit flush with the car? Got any pics of this mod?

the base does sit flush. its kinda hard to describe. i actually didnt snap any pics i dont think. just looked through my old pics and it doesnt look like i snapped any pics. i can photoshop what i did later and give you a diagram.
