Whats the difference between the first version and second?

 

The resonator will change the sound a bit but there's no telling how. My question is, is that duct tape on the flex part of the y-pipe?

 

No its just scrapped but its going to the for sale section i didn't know it was so loud -_-

 

Ok so let me see if I have the facts straight. You buy an exhaust that's supposedly a Motordyne, take enough pictures to post them and ask us if it's legit not noticing it has a Flowmaster resonator. Then Tony mysteriously say's it's authentic even though it has **** welds, duct tape on the flex portions (deny it all you want, it's duct tape) and has a Flowmaster resonator. And now you're going to sell it because it's too loud?


Fellas am I the only one here to smell some major

 

i doubt its duct tape on the flex joints. looks like the outer ring has just completely scraped off and its the inside of the flex joint. it could be like a prototype model. i just think he is going to have a hard time selling it a 1000$. im assuming he got it for super cheap

 

Then I must be seeing something you don't. To me it clearly looks like dirty duct tape. The texture is similar and I see frayed ends on both flex parts which I see as the edge of the tape.

 

How the hell was it simply just not turned over and the words flowmaster clearly shown?

i think its just the outside of the flex joint twill getting scraped almost completely off.

 

i mean he said he verified with tony... it looked obvious the resonator in the middle was not the same one motordyne currently ships with, thats why i was saying it might have been like a prototype model where tony used a 3rd party resonator

I didnt see the fowmaster logo when i bought it or in the pictures they sent me or when i picked it up.
You told me mesage tony cus im" d1cking around" so I did he said its real so I bought it.

And i dont know whats up with you and duct tape some sort of fetish?

Its like people modifying a exhaust thats ment for a coupe to make it fit a sedan some people find it odd some interesting. Same on why do people waste money on a 4 door sports car instead of a 2 door?

Sorry if you took it that way. I just didn't understand why you wouldn't just go to Tony in the first place before asking a bunch of people that the majority of couldn't answer your question about legitimacy. Something just felt fishy to me about this whole thread and since I was wrong I can admit it. You're right, it's your money and you can do with it what you want but remember one of the reasons America is great is because we have freedom of speech. So opinions will be expressed which you might agree with or not but remember what they say about opinions...........
