Motordyne exhaust

Helllooo
In trying to buy a used exhaust they claim its motordyne but i dont know if its true.
Is there any way of figuring out if its the real deal? Serial #s or certain mark's?

The welds look kind of sloppy and the 2 canisters on the end dont look rounded off.:/

I think older versions of Motordyne exhausts had flattened canisters like that. The welds should look perfect though. The mid-muffler should have the MD logo on it. That could be a knockoff, but I did not look closely. It should transition from 2.5" at the Y-pipe to 3" at the mid pipes.

it looks like someone pieced this together themselves. the end tip with the resonators are genuine, and the front of the Y pipe looks authentic, but where it joins looks weird.

Edgar here's a thought. Instead of d!cking around asking members who might not have a clue what they're talking about if this is legit why not cut to the chase and send Tony at Motordyne a PM and just ask him. If it's legit he made it and can confirm or deny it's authenticity.

This isn't rocket science people, just common sense...........

So i bought it and just installed
Anddddd
The resonator is not from motoryne its Flowmaster

It sounds nice but i dont know if having a flowmaster resonator actually makes it louder, deeper, quieter or give it a different tone?
