Go with the Walbro and a return fuel system , Larger fuel injectors
The wire harness is a very good idea
The Zeitronix works real well , dataloogs , takes the place of 3 gauges
Thats the idea when I do that. I want to make sure that its possible to do....

Tuning was partially a disaster..

We arrive at Tim's place at 1pm (took 3 hours to get down there):

Not 30 minutes later after you hook up the wideband O2, program the laptop and plug the new fuel map in.. this happens:

So we wait, and wait, and wait, and wait and finally after 2 hours of waiting we just gave up. But now we had another problem, how do I get the car out without submerging my engine in this lake that formed at the bottom of his driveway? A 5 gallon bucket and 10 gallon trash can helped bail out all of the water along with a push broom.. that was a nice 30 minute workout in the rain no-less.

In summary, the car has a better fuel map, but I have no idea how much better the car is running.. my butt dyno doesn't work well at all. I am going to make the trip to Orlando next saturday and see what the car puts down on the dyno.

Could have been much worse (knock on wood)..

Question Belt question

Question:

I'm installing my Vortech on Thursday.....

I am currently runing a UR - UD crank pulley which I will be removing....

With the Vortech.....do I need to round up my old accessory belt or is there just the one belt now that runs everything????

Thanks.

Actually.......your answer is totally WRONG!!!!!!!!!

Cost me an hour or so...dammit.

Maybe only ONE belt....if you don't care about running your AC compressor......I like my AC.

Sorry.....the correct answer was that I needed my orig AC belt + the Vortech belt.

FINALLY! The gauge pod is wrapped in the right color and is on the car.. Thanks to Defi for all of their great customer service, I wish I wasn't an idiot from the start..

I'll take all kinds of daytime shots when my wheels and brakes arrive sometime in the near future; i hope.

ps - of course my friend forgot to give me my drivers side sun visor back, ugh.

No pictures of the gauges lit up in the pod yet.. I am going to make a video or 2 hopefully as soon as I get some free time; inside the car while driving and outside.

This is a link to the 4th page of this thread with pictures of the gauges lit up: https://g35driver.com/forums/showpos...1&postcount=55
