what is this?

 

its an adapter that will allow you to hard wire in satellite radio (xm/sirius) or other audio devices. It will enable you to use your steering wheel controls as well for volume etc... I will post pics later tonight

 

is the ipod interface i hear peple talking about

 

not sure...to be honest.. I myself used it for sirius satellite... before I changed my head unit

 

hmm, where do you plug in your mp3 to?

 

you would use a wire that has left/right (red/white) connector to connect to the unit and the other end has a 1/8 inch jack...same as your headphone ends... this unit allows you to hook up 2 units.. I had sirius and another for ipod..but never really used the ipod much if at all...

i had the box under my console.... with the connectors run to the armrest for the ipod and the navi-console for the sirius unit
