FS: Z-Tube (NISMO)

FS: Z-tube made by Nismo.

Looking to sell it cause I went back to OEM intake tube. This one is too loud for my taste. I don't like setting off my neighbor's car alarm. It does provide that deep roar or garble that the exhaust makes.

So if you want the glossy look as opposed to the dull OEM grey color to match with whatever other customizations you've done to your engine bay and/or you are a fan of the louder sounding exhaust note, you will definitely benefit in having this.

$75 shipped via USPS Priority Shipping 2-3 day delivery (PayPal preferred).
Includes: Tube, Rubber Connectors, and Hardware.

Hey everyone. Thanks for your interest. I am located in El Paso, TX. Far west in the Texas state.

Irishsig - sorry never had an OEM Z-Tube to compare this with on my G, but it does produce a loud sound in the exhaust note. Very much higher than the stock G intake tube. Especially at above the 3k rpm mark.

As for the install of this, yes... very very very easy indeed. This coming from a guy whose entire tool box has a couple of screw drivers, one set of needle nose pliers, hammer, and a couple of wrenches. In other words, despite me being mechanically challenged, I did the entire uninstall and re-install in approx. 15 minutes. So no fear factor there, dont worry about that at all.

Also as an FYI for you guys, the tube is not metal. I too at first thought it was, so I put a magnet to it to see if it would stick, but it did not. After looking at it some more, and dont quote me on this, but I think it's something like a CF type or PVC type of material. I believe it's made of this material keeping in mind that if it was metal, a hot air factor would arise, and that would not be a good thing.

Now with regards to sounding louder than OEM Z-tube, my friend purchased this for his 350Z and ended up keeping it cause he did note a bit louder and deeper sound being emitted. Which he was totally into. He sold his Z and offered this out to me. I installed it, but found it to be too loud for my taste and use of the car. I sometimes have to take out clients to lunch and it was somewhat weird picking up 40+ year old CEO's, Managers, and such in a loud "Vroom, Vroom" sounding car.

Hope that info helps clear things up a bit for some of you guys. If not, just let me know if you have further questions.

Thanks again.
