Afordabump G35 Audio install w/ Cobalt factory pioneer enclosure
I wanted a nice audio system while keeping the cost down. It doesn't help the dash install kit s for our cars run $165-300 so thats a pretty big chunk considering i'm used to spending maybe 30-50.
I went with the metra dash kit & wiring - 165
Kenwood DPX502BT DD CD Receiver USB Interface & Bluetooth - 110
Boss Audio KIT2 8 Gauge Amplifier Kit with RCA/ Speaker Wire - 15
Hifonics ZRX616.4 Zeus 4X150W Amp - 90
25 Sq Ft Noico Self-adhesive Foil & Butyl Mat 50 Mil - 37
Cobalt factory sub enclosure - 70
Infinity Primus 6 1/2" Component Speaker System - 87
also considered and will probably get another pair of small speakers that will use the kenwood receiver amp and make a custom enclosure for it and tweeter in factory location.

thought about doin 2 amp setup 1 mono and this compact 4x50 wt rms amp and installing under dash but went with the bigger amp.
All the stuff
fitting the cobalt factory sub into the g35 trunk.
pro cardboard tracer
dremel cutoff wheel meets plastic spare tire border trunk liner support thing
fits good
another angle of fits good
metal mods
tool overkill lord
bent thing on left because it was in the way kinda. welded then riveted metal plate with a bolt that should of been a little longer but worked
cut off ends of a couple bolts and moved wiring harness, rip zip ties.

Still haven't decided where i want to put the amp in the trunk yet, waiting for new radio dash kit to get here too.
In the meantime i installed the front 2 door speakers, they will be rewired when i get amp installed.
First time i ever put a screw driver through a speaker, got mad , then saw i could fix with epoxy and can't tell anything happened by listening to them
I started on my door speaker pods, this will be my first fiberglass/ speaker box project.

New receiver installed, 2 sets of preamps put down driver door side to the amp mounted to side of trunk.
Sounds pretty good with 300 watts going to the pioneer 10.
I heard a hissing noise and thought it was coming from rear speakers somewhere but it i guess the fuel system is pretty loud without the rear seat.
