Hey guys so long story short we picked up this pair of super clean jdm v35 sedan headlights for an 06 G35 sedan but after installing we were left with these nasty fitment issues lol, I’m sure the jdm headlights have the same measurements (yes I do know that the bulbs are meant for Japanese road projection)

thanks if anyone can help identify why this is happening that’d be awesome!!

Hood seems to be hanging over the headlight then some ugly gaps around :0

 

I'll take a wild guess and say what you have there is an '03-'04 model headlamp. I believe the shape was different for '05-'06. Hope you still have your old ones.
