I didn't go to the last one but it sounds like fun. Not sure if you knew but there is a "secret" spot in Griffith park that is pretty cool. It's where the old zoo bear caves are. It's kinda tucked away but it has a ton of space and you can actually walk into the old bear caves (there are no bears there anymore). I don't remember if they have a BBQ pit there though. It's been years since I was up there.

Spot sounds pretty chill... why not bring a grill and set up there.
