glad everyone had fun in ktown. sorry about the peach soju tasting like sprite. the manager was cool enough to change it out for the yogurt soju. that place was busy last night, hence the sucky service. but u gotta agree, the food was good, especially the sweet and sour shrimp! =)
Hey you guys totally hooked it up. My wife and I enjoyed the place..We had to get home fast she had to work a 16 hr shift today starting at 7..lol The philippines doesn't have soju and she wasn't ready for what she felt later..She was like get me home fast that stuff kicked my as$.

It was cool meeting everyone in LA....although I missed the cruise up, I still got to partake in the 1 hour bumper to bumper fiasco on the 405 before Howard Hughes. Also was fun at Prince in Ktown, that place was pretty cool. I'll definitely be coming out to the barbecque

What was the point of discussing the route in the first place?!?!? Also 80 mph is not a cruise... The fact that a couple other guys and I had to exceed triple digits just to try to catch up made this more of race than a cruise.

Sorry for the rant...

But the afterparty in Ktown was the redeeming part of the night for me. Good seeing everyone again. Oh yeah, Peggy, no more peach soju for you
+1,000,000,000!!!

I watched football all day which is why I haven't chimed in yet (my 'Boys just kicked Washington's *** btw 8)). Anyways, last night's cruise was a joke. Sorry but there is no 2 ways about it. I fell a little bit behind the main pack and by the time I was able to get into the open, everyone was gone. Peggy and I were scratching our head's trying to figure out how we just lost a pack of G's/Z's. We missed the transition onto the 605. So we ended up cruising alone all the way to Sunset when we finally ran into a few other G's that also got lost and had to cruise alone. This cruise was very disorganized and what should have been an awesome night was nothing but frustrating. Luckily I live in Hollywood or it would have been worse. Hai's rules for a cruise are right on. The way we did it for the Labor Day cruise was a perfect example of the way it should be done. Props to shirog35 (Bobby) for organizing and leading that cruise. Him and I lead the cruise and if he or I saw that the pack got seperated or caught at a light, we slowed down or pulled over. We kept a steady pace and never just took off without regard for the rest of the pack behind us. Also having a designated person at the back of the pack updating the front is also a great idea. Needless to say, last nights cruise was fun for a whole 10-15 minutes. Next time we need to have more than one person organize the cruise, have a planned route printed out and handed out to everyone and stick to it. The point of a cruise is to be able to cruise together as a pack and enjoy the experience and site of all those G's/Z's together. That didn't happen last night . . . .

Here's my $.02. Thanks to Onyx for organizing this event. For some it was fun. For others, including myself, it was a whole lot of frustration. It goes without saying that keeping a group of this size together over that much distance is a monumental task. We managed to keep a group half this size together on the Labor Day cruise even through surface street traffic. So, hopefully we learn from our mistakes. I agree we should plan a definite route and stick with it. Having specific people who are familiar with the area in the rear of the pack and in touch with the leaders is a must. Another critical point...try and choose a route with little to no traffic. Maybe easier said than done but the point is that all the pretty Gs/Zs don't look all that hot sitting in bumper-to-bumper traffic. It's quite a sight when the pack is cruising at 70mph four or five lanes wide.

The wife only managed to get a small
of us leaving the stadium. Besides, a few minutes later there were no Gs/Zs in sight.

I think we were right next to each other when the pack disappeared Kurtis. It was frustrating to say the least.
