I am actually VERY curious on how you guys hooked up a sound system in your rides.

my old car was easy.. just dropping in a head unit w/ a little plastic adapter thing that made it into a cd holder.. watever..

the G however looks like you need to replace the whole panel.

either way.. If im not working late, i'll try to drop by..

you can hook up subs to the stock hu. but most people get a dd conversion kit and put in some sort of dd hu. however, there are a few people who still prefer single din hu's...

Here's what I can figure out.

I had purchased some flowers for my wife since we had a little disagreement the night before. As I remember it, I got tired of waiting there and decided to head back home and wait there. For some reason I passed my house and went down 2 more stop signs. The second one is where I crashed. From what I can tell, I hit the stop sign pulled the turn to the right and then hit the tree. When I came to, there was an officer (He witnessed to whole thing) asking me if I was O.K. and that I had just been in an accident. The really scary thing is I don't remember anything after leaving the parking lot. My wife is really freaked out just because of all that happened and no explainable answers. Then we go all the way back to when I crashed on my motorcycle 5 years ago. I crashed the bike on the same date Feb-9th! And I have no memory of that either. Oh yeah! I went over lastnight and looked at the Magnum. It looks like the car did not in fact roll up on to the drivers side. It looks like the body flexed when the passenger side hit the tree and the sunroof shattered. The passenger headlight and the section of bumper is gone and the right front fender is peeled all the way back to the door. They just told me the car is a total loss but I will be getting some money back on it. But for the mean time I cannot drive. We have to wait until the E.E.G. comes back and they hopefully tell me my head is alright. Oh yeah, I wont be able to make it up for the GTG after all. We have some things to attend to and we are celebrating my son's 4th birthday tonight. So I'll see you all at the next meet. Have fun and stay safe out there.

Later,

Ray

Oh! And the officer said I didn't even slow down for the turn. Guess those SRT-8 Magnum handle pretty well if I was able to pull a 90 degree turn at about 40-45 mph.

The G's basically the same idea. except for the plastic adapter thing, you'll just use a finisher(same thing as plastic adapter thing...as you so call it ) and a new ac controller. if i go tomorrow, you can look at mine.

its pretty scary that you don't remember even leaving the driveway but that happens alot after a serious accident. Something about the movement of the brain in the skull and swelling affecting the short term memory. My girl was rear ended sitting at a stop sign on a freeway offramp. The lady that hit her was going about 60 mph. When they had asked the lady what happened she said she didn't even remember getting off the freeway. She just remembered getting on the freeway then everything blacked out.

Luckily my girl was in a chevy avalanche and the lady that hit here was in a camry. the camry was destroyed.

don't worry bro, a lot of people do, stock z's g's, s2000's, and evo's. You shouldn't have to worry about that being that you bought a semi expensive car. Not everyone has money to throw around.

coming out when stock lets you see what you wanted to buy. Some times its better to see it in person then to buy it and be disappointed later.

Yeah! My G was stock for close to 8 months before I started installing anything on it. First thing was a Cold air intake, and then slowly I added a few things here and there. Even now my G doesn't look too different from stock ones aside from the 20" wheels and tinted windows. It all comes around after awhile. Besides, bone stock these cars are hot. My last car that was just crashed only had a cat-back exhaust and a cold air intake and that car was fine. Go on out and meet some people and get some ideas fr what you want to do.

Later,

Ray
