How long do you guys let your cars cool off before you run when you get there? The reason I ask that is your cars will be very hot after running the canyons and then soon after drag race, so your times will be affected from heat soak plus the altitude. I'm not trying to spoil anyones fun so I will bring my cooler with bags of ice to help with cooling. I figure you might as well go all out to better your times since they are closing soon. I'm shooting for 12s' hopefully. Also if any one wants to use my DR's for a couple of runs you can.

I've been hearing it for a while.

There was actually a post by a long time LACR staff/employer stating that the reason they dont have a schedule after spring 2007 is the fact that they can't seem to keep the track clean from dust, and the horrible elevation.

This was on the LACR website. Somewhere in the forum section.

I usually just wait like 10 minutes afetr the canyon run hahaha hopefully we can get there early enough to let the cars cool off for a good while.

sounds good Derek.

So there's a little problem for me, sorta.. My GF told me this past Saturday, "hey Walter, let's take our godson to Disneyland on Friday (march 9th)"

i was like noooooo, I can't... i gotta work!! hahahaha Out of all the freaking days!!! sucks that something HAS to ALWAYS come up when I'm going to the track lol if it ain't work, it's something else lol one of the reasons I take the day off whenever I want to go to the track lol

i'm anxiously waiting for Angeles Crest already! I wanted to go this afternoon with my bro, but said naaaaaw, It'd be more fun rolling with a bunch of G's on Friday, so I'll just wait!

Are there plans to roll/cruise back together also?

Or is everyone leaving at their own time?

I hope it's not crowded. I got in 5 runs last time arriving around 8pm which I think is pretty good considering I came late.
