I'm going to be tint less and maybe car less this Thursday. Anyone know of a good tint shop out here? Superautobacs sucks @ss at tint and is refunding me my money today.

drive up to ca tint and it's only like 120 or something...they did a damn good job and grant's and my cars

It was 140 for the rear windows. I got it back today, but the cost in gas for the times that I have gone there are about the same, plus on the initial installation they scratched my trunk pretty f*kn good. They redid the tint a few weeks after the initial install and it still had bubbles. Then they told me to come back when it was warm, because (supposedly) the cold air was making it difficult. I went there on Sat and they said they couldn't guarantee it wouldn't have bubbles and that I was the only one to complain... I guess people don't look at their windows.

If you guys show up at the meet I would like to check out your tint to see how it worked out. Is that cool? I've already had one guy recommend a shop and when I looked at his tint, it had more bubbles than mine. He's my boss so I didn't tell him how bad his tint was. Part of me thinks that I should tell him anyway

 

they charge a fvckin arm and leg. tried to charge grant like 300 or 400 bucks if i recall. charged andrew like 300.

There is no way that I'm paying more than a buck 50 for tint. I would rather do it myself. Which is what I plan on doing on the front windows anyway. I will have to pull the front tint no matter what next year in preparation for Japan. Oh, I can't wait!

I might have something new... Right now my mac/subs have no power. I have to give it it's own dedicated power. It seems like that is what is causing my TPMS and alarm to go hay wire. How, I'm not sure. It's just power, right?
