I've inspected Randy's car top to bottom, and talked with him about things... His car is freakin clean. Why did he not win, i duno, can't say. Maybe cus i have two wheels off instead of one sometimes i duno I feel mine is good, but every time I see his i feel like i want to do more to mine hahah, but i'm not a judge...
I stand corrected. Sorry Tony for saying what I said and yes you both have nice cars. I don't know you personally so it's nothing against you and your sick car.
I guess I'm getting all bent outta shape for the judging.... and it just bugs me to see Randy's car get passed up again and again....
My bad.

The winners have nothing to do with the outcome.. I tried to get this point out before but it was misunderstood. I think thought the competition has been stepped up and well sometimes what worked in the past might need to be updated. The Audio/Video and custom paint seems to play a major role. IMO that is what makes the judges lean more towards picking the winner. FI and BBK seems to be the norm..
There are alot of nice cars out there and a few really take the circuit by storm ...The G has come along way
IMO there should be 2 different classes added sponsored and nonsponsored. How can a nonsponsored car compete with a sponsored car?
The SUV class should be tweaked also to have more sections.
Just my two cents worth.
and Alvin I reread my post and wanted to wish you the best in the show arena. Tough crowd.

I had just got over a cold and was still pretty exhausted, so spent most of the show napping with a jacket over my head. Will be more social next time

that's Ruben (Rever here on the forum). Ya, to many photogs in our group who start playing around when members fall asleep (hence my jacket they got me, too... but I don't like to post incriminating evidence.
As far as judging and attending shows, go to the shows to have fun... not to win trophies and you'll feel 100 times better. if you want more categories, you need to pimp out and get 6-10 cars in the category you are looking to open. It took me and Eddie (G35Lin) and Pnut nearly 2 years (that's probably 15-20 shows) to get just the Infiniti/G35 category accepted by all the shows (and most still can't spell infinity). Contact the show promoters and tell them what you are looking for....get enough vehicles and they'll work with you.
If you get 6-10 FX's to show on a re-occuring basis, then they will have their own category... that's how it works, most of the time.
