I'm guessing he will keep his sedan or get a new sedan. I don't see him getting all worked up and wanting a coupe but I could be wrong - it *has* happened before.

I'm sure he is going to enjoy the trip out to AZ though.

I heard it.. I asked him to start it up on Sat.. it sounds just like the current G to me. Maybe a little louder/aggressive once rev'd.. actually it started to get a little raspy when he revved it up but that's probably because it's a pre production car.. we'll see.

So did anyone do a quick 0-60 of it to see the difference between the 07 G35 and the G37? How's the pick up compared to the 07 sedans?

0-60's are a useless measure of a vehicles performance. On one day, some one might pull a 5.2. On another day, it can be 6.0... etc

I like the G37. I think it looks very good. But I just don't like to see how they took the aggresive curves of the G35 and "smoothen" them out. It seems as if they took the G35, put it in an oven, and let it melt down.

I love the G37's interior, brakes, and overall design. But the G35 suits me best. Anyhow, my future goal is to go FI with a built engine so the engine doesnt really matter that much.

.

Same here.

I like the current G35 coupe's style alot more than the new G37. Maybe seeing one in person would help.

I think the only thing that would honestly get me to consider getting one is the engine and the power of the G37..

I've had the '07 G35 Sedan as loaner car twice from the dealer.. all I can say is that that thing HAULS major ****! Of course, it doesn't have the 3.7L, but it's got the dual intake.

With that in mind, I can only imagine how the G37 drives when referring to it's performance. I'm not a fan of the G37's front or tails either though...I personally prefer the O.G. style, but who knows! Maybe a couple revisions down the line, Infiniti will realize what the people want and will change the design?

at Stillen? yah, the guy turned the car on, but didnt take off or anything.
so idle sound compared to ours is a bit less of the 'purr', and deeper sound.

I like the new brakes and the new engine.

I don't like the headlights, taillights, or the general look of the whole G37, especially the dash with the sunken Nav system. I'm very disappointed. My only hope for a new car is that the Z gets the 3.7L.
