9/22 Dyno Day and Uprev Raffle at Church Automotive Testing - signup inside
Hi All,
As discussed in another thread, Church Automotive Testing will be doing a G35/350Z Dyno Day on 9/22 at our facility in Wilmington, CA (near Long Beach). http://www.churchdyno.com
The purpose of this event is to showcase the UpRev Osiris tuning software for factory ECUs on 06 and earlier G's and Z's (and Titan's interestingly ). In addition to $45 baseline dynos (we have up to 25 slots available), we will also be raffling off a full Osiris dyno tune, a $600+ value. If you are dynoing your car, you are automatically entered in the raffle. We will also allow people not dynoing their car to enter the raffle for $5 (one ticket per person maximum). All we ask is that you get there before 1pm to sign up for the raffle.
We are also going to limit this event to G's and Z's only at this point. We will start dynoing at 9:30 am.
We have already tuned both NA and supercharged VQ35 cars with the Osiris package and it is awesome. Full control over fuel, ignition, cam timing, rev limits and electronic throttle openings, plus the capabilty to switch maps on the fly through your cruise control switch. On my 05 G35C 6MT, with only a Motordyne kit, we picked up 15 hp and 15 lbs-ft of torque and I have a valet map and a race gas map to boot. On a recent 06 350Z with a Vortech kit and exhaust, we picked up 48 hp peak and 70 hp at 7000 rpm (430 whp peak at 9 psi). The gains would have been larger had we been able to rev higher, but we were out of fuel injector. Gains that large were totally unexpected, but cam timing plays a major role in performance on the VQ's, and up until the Osiris package, we have been unable to tune that variable.
Please add yourself to the signup list on this thread if you plan on dynoing your car. I look forward to seeing lots of old friends again.

Bring the Mustang, but the G's and Z's will get first priority - no guarantees if things fill up (there are always no shows though).
As to piggybacks, yes, you can use the Osiris package in conjunction with piggybacks. It really makes them unnecessary for most vehicles, but I can understand not wanting to pull them out. The Vortech 06Z we tuned still had its piggyback and base map intact when we tuned it. He may pull it out later and we will retune the setup, but it works just fine otherwise.
