Why did i miss this thread?

 

well i figure if you put your name on the list and if you paid online before hand you're probably gonna go. The time is set the list is large enough those that miss, im sorry, but all caravans have the flakes, should be fun though, especially if we get all 15+ of us

 

with about 15-20 cars or so rolling together, I'm sure we'll have a few of us that have Navi in their Gs. And whomever does, will be one of the leaders of our 3-4 groups, if that makes sense.

It's gonna be quite tough for everyone to jump on the 5 freeway all at once from IHOP, since there is a light just before the entrance to the freeway. Once we're out in the freeway, we'll try and stay as close to everyone as possible, so there can be the group rolling shots, etc. etc.

When we're close to the entrance to the park, IIRC, the entrance is on the eastside going southbound of the park. We'll stop for a minute or 2 so everyone can catch up from the stoplights.

as for the walkie talkies, I don't think we'll be needing those. Cell phones would work just fine IMO.

so wait a minute...im not to good with directions, im if right, i heard that the SFV caravan is gonna meet up with the LA caravan right? so what caravan would be the most convenient to join? (note that im in anaheim)

 

Go ahead and go to the L.A Caravan if you like; we [SFV] will meet up with the L.A Caravan anyhow. The SFV Pre-Meet is about ~5 miles north/west of the L.A Pre-Meet. If you don't mind driving the extra miles [~10 min away], then your also welcomed to our SFV roll-out

if you are thinking convenience, then wouldnt the LA caravan be a little out of your way from the BBQ? i am not saying you shouldnt join or anything like that. the more the marrier actually, but you said which would be most convenient. you would be doing a lot of backtracking heading out the to LA meeting place

 

yea, I just talked to him on MSN, he'll be joining the LA caravan. And I too brought up the fact that he'll be backtracking, but since it's gonna be his first caravan, he wanted to be part of our 15-20+ Gs rolling together!

 

Treat him good Wally and show him how we do it for caravans...
