Turn out of competitors was a little different than I'm used to for Autofest. Swift and Nokturnal were everywhere with the crazy trucks and suvs. Randy built 1st and 2nd! He beat his own G with my money, which is pretty funny.

Will post pics when i see them, didn't get to walk around much due to waiting for judging which happened pretty late for us.

 

yeah... Took forever for judges to come around.

 

Yeah they are usually late with the awards, the judging experience is usually a little bit more personal than you witnessed. He's not a bad judge but normally you're allowed a bit more interaction to show stuff and explain things.

Don't let that first experience be a hindrance to going to more shows. It was pretty funny he kept walking away from everyone.

 

Yeah, he was totally avoiding me... I tried to talk to him a couple times and he just ignored me. Whatever, if I thought I had a chance I would be pissed with the judge - but I could care less

Congrats to Viet, Randy, and Mike! Also to Team Intrigue... you guys did great as well!!!

That was hilarious when I heard it, 20 bucks for a JDM airbag!

It's always great to have a bunch of Gs together. Very cool for admirers of the platform to see all the different things that can be done to the G35. Your guys' platform is the perfect. Clean, sporty, some lux without being overly cush. Add in the aftermarket and JDM stuff available and bam it's the ish in my eyes.

Great hanging with everyone as usual.

 

I could've careless about the judge since I already know I'm still not in the level of winning. But shutting me up and tell's me "Yeah I know all these stuff and you don't have to worry about it cuz my best friend had the best G35 last year..... ... it was the burgandy if you ever seen it." I was like wtf, slapped in the face! I thought it was very unprofessional. But oh well. Move on to the next show! Good seing everyone though!

Yeah he was not having a good day or something. Even if his friend did have a great G last year. Things change new things come out or are done for the first time on the platform. A lot of that can get missed if the judge doesn't take the time to hear someone explain what they've done to their car.

IDRC Battle of the Imports next month at Cal speedway. Pretty sure the judges there are with D Sport.
