^ Sweet, thanx man. I'm buying a new SD card for my digi cam as we speak. Hoping to shoot some video of you guys; I'll make a video with sound and stills from all the shots, or if anyone else wants to contribute photos from that day too.

 

Candlestickpark is also doing the same thing... he's going to spectate + taking lots of pix!

What group are we trying to be in? One of the first 5 groups?

I think last time we were in group 5 or 6 back in april.

 

earlier the better - unless we are BBQing, then we need time to set stuff up... it would suck to be in first group and get called before everything is unloaded and set up... I guess that helps narrow down my poll choice (have you noticed I'm waiting for poll results before voting )

Edit: damn I just looked at the poll results... its 4 to 5 I really though catering was gonna take it I hope others start voting cause I don’t want to be the deciding factor...

I need to know something before I vote… If we BBQ who is going to organize it all?...

 

Yeah, I'm going to take a ton of pics guys and of course will share them with everyone. I got a PM questionig how much would I charge to take pics of cars going down the track. I plan on taking pics of everyones ride for free. I'm still a noob at photography and I'm learning as I go. I hope to get some decent shots to share with everyone. Once I'm really good then you guys will have to shell out the big bucks (j/k )

Yes, it's this Saturday@ 12 if my schedule doesn't change.

The last thing I would wan't to be in is the last few groups. The wait is too long. Being 1st or in the second group would be the ideal groups.

 

So what time does everyone want to meet right in front of the gate? (The usual spot).

That way I know more or less what time to get the caravan going and what not.

6am? 6:15?

 

ummm... 7:30ish - gives more nappy time in bed (instead of car)

If we want 1st group I figure 6:00 is critical... also, I think that puts us with the caterer rather than BBQ - Once we get through inspection and find a pit area, group 1 will come up quick... if we are unloading grill, table, coolers, food, drink, etc... It might f-up the first run (or put us in too much of a hurry)

So group 1 = 6:00 = catered... group 2 = 6:15-6:30 = possible BBQ...

Just my thoughts...

 

Hmmm . . . that's why I think catering is the better idea. I really don't wanna have to worry about anything but getting my G set up and racing.

wait dude... what happened to the poll?... Also, I don't know if they will let you be in 2 groups - that would mean 2 numbers on the car right? I've never seen that...

Don't get in a funk just yet... One thing that has not been determined though - if BBQ is majority in the poll, who is organizing? We need to know who’s bringing what and ordering meat and all that ****...

 

the poll is tied. U guys are right about the catering, it will be less headache and easier to organize.
