thanks everyone for coming!!

Pleasure to see new faces interested in the drag days! Hopefully CS goes back to being in groups like old times. This new setup freaking blows!!

How late did you guys end up staying 'til?

Don't worry about the bumper Alan. It's all good. There are just a few little scratches on it. Luckily it was a super low speed bump. Thanks for being my jack man!

I'm still bummed about my luck though. Oh well, at least I got home okay. The cruise to the track was fun and cruising with Derrick and Alex all the way back home was cool too. Maybe next time my luck will change.

Thanks again for all the help Alex. I owe you bigtime bro.

You missed out Wally. The fellas all got a ton of runs in during the afternoon. The crowd thinned out bigtime and they got to run like 5-6 times each. Maybe more. Not me though. I just put my Works back on and watched.

lol I should of scrolled up some more lol Thanks for coming out man!! Alan = hardcore! Making it to the caravan and everything! lol

I didn't wanna sound like a fat ***! (even though I am) "Hey, I'm gonna take one of the bags of cheetos."

I pick her up in an hour and if I bring her home I'll show her your ride. I'm sure she'll love it. I did send her the link to the new FX and she likes that one too! So looks like in a few months I'll be in the Infiniti family again! lol

And if she picks out the sedan instead (which I doubt since she already has an 05 Maxima), I'm sure I can convince her to go 6MT, since she does know how to drive manual cars. That way I can take it to the track!

Either way, look out for the Irwindale thread pretty soon since I plan on going in Spring Break.

Unfortunately I had to leave since my fiancee had to go to work and since she has night shift in the weekends at the Hilton now, parking is a biatch in the downtown area so she has me take/pick her up now. Oh well. Definitely hope to stay late next time!

By the way, Mike, the food was delicious!! I loved the ribs! Thanks for organizing the caterer. Oh and I didn't take my usual nap, maybe because inspection took forever and there was no groups! lol I did try and squeeze in a few minutes every time we had to move just before my only run but with all the noise and weather being a bit hot, I can't technically call it a nap lol

WTF? All this post-talk and no one has brought up times yet?

Let me ask everyone what they ran (E.T, Trap).

Hector, what happened down there? Sounds like more bad luck.

How many runs did you guys end up getting?

And everone, please post your times in the link below with timeslips and/or videos as verification. Please help us out

First run-Clean launch, 2.0 60ft time, pulling hard and then I miss shift.

Second run-Front driver's side tire punctured by a screw on the track (wtf??? ), run aborted before I fit second gear . . . . end of day for me.

It was really great hanging out with everyone! Our turnout was great (best so far)... The open lanes idea instead of groups was completely asinine and NO ONE at the track (including people running it) liked the idea. It's highly doubtful they will do that again.

I didn’t get my first run in until 3:56 (couldn't sit in line for 2 hrs because I had to wait for the caterer)... but believe it or not from 3:56 till 5:46 I got 4 runs in!

Waiting for the crowd to thin out was the way to go... I think most people got fed up from sitting in staging lines 1.5-2 hrs for each run...

Best ET was 14.1 - however the others were 14.2 & 14.3... My Quaife is phucked so its like I'm running open diff... I'm back to the days of no traction and sh!tty 60' (2.2) - when the differential was functioning properly I was consistently getting low 2.1 @ Irwnindale (before Osiris) - once I figure out what’s going on with the Quaife 2.0 are almost certain... then sub 14 here I come!

Wally! I'll definitely get with you at Irwindale!!! After the track management yesterday, Irwindale is actually a great place!

Thanks for everyone’s contribution ad participation – track issues aside, as a group everything was awesome! Nice to see all of you and I look forward to the next one!!!
