And I thought all did inside were the lights.

Quote: I did the bypass, you know when you hook up a media device such as a zune or an IPod video you must have the parking brake on, and even after that if you go over 4 mph it cuts out....yeah, i took that off. It only costs me 3 dollars (to buy the electrical tape.) lol

Both tix will require a processinng "fee". The one issued by the officer will require you to fix it as well, THEN you have to get it signed off. I assume the other ticket (the first one?) was issued by parking enforcement? If so, there should only be a processing fee (good thing you had front plates on at the time).

BUT ... keep in mind, as good as 5% looks on your IP sedan, it looks like it has painted glass making it a sure fire citation.

Usually, the place that put the tint on there will be the cheapest at removing your tint, especially if they are gonna put it back on there for you. Did you not like the workmanship? If it's relatively new tint ... you can probably take it off yourself for free.

What you need to do is decide if you're gonna put the 5% back on and pray for the best or if you are gonna go lighter. Remember ... you only need to remove the front windows to be legal.

Jamz if you want to go there, let me know. I'm gonna redo my tint as well and if we roll up together, we might get deeper discount you know?

Besides, It'd be better to hang out with someone while waiting there... lol

Nah ... your's should come off easy. It's tougher when it is like 10 years old when there was nothing but cheap dye based tints back then.

All you need is a single edge razor blade, a spray bottle of soapy water or window cleaner and 15 minutes. But if you're gonna put something back up, the installer should do the removal CHEAP.

Remove and install should be less than a tank of gas!

Also, if youre gonna do it yourself make sure to cover the leather with something. Something else i found easy when i took off the tint on my Toyota Land Cruiser was that i used an adhesive remover(thats made to take off wallpaper) to take off the rest of the glue on the window. It worked awsome, i think its called DIF or GIF. idk..i forgot.

Man...Ive been fortunate then bout my tint......(knock on wood)
