well im voting for anything after my bday which is March 24th.. im not missing that for anything.. so anytime after that is cool to me..

 

I voted for the 29th to the 30th... anythin' after is fine too.

 

12-13th for me, I won't be home from Japan til the 6h of April!

 

22-23 is bad for me. My son's birthday is on the 24th. Plus I need to get something fixed...

April is when all of my school sht starts piling up and the uuubbber long study days start again. I vote for the last weekend in march.

 

ill see how this thread is doing on myg37 and my350z so i can get a for sure date...people still have 10 days...that give me at least 4 days before the first date to organize things

Do a saturday and maybe I can set up something from this side and we can all meet up at Julian?

 

There's really no good "meet spot" in julian. Once you get into town it's all street parking, no lots. The pie place has a decent size parking lot, but that is on the other side of the drive, and the scenery isn't great there. Just farm crap.

The only good meet spots are the ones off the road when you are coming up julian. When you take the Mt. Laguna route (which takes you to the pie place), there are no places to pull off.

 

I used to do a Temecula to Julian or Idywild run a while ago. We used to just park at the roadside parking spaces and meet at one of the resturaunts to eat. a couple of times we even found an open roadside where we all could park together. I think Josh (G2FAST) posted from one of the runs. besides, it's not where everyone parks, but the drive up there. Unless you're just driving up through Ramona, then that's kinda boring. The drive from Temecula through Palomar Mountain is awesome for taking the twisties. We even took the back route through Warner Springs and around Palomar before, Glennn (GlennP1999) lead that one with his loaner car and was just nuts on some of tose turns. I mean, I thougt I was bad. Have fun you all! I'd try and go too, but I don't trust my nephew on the whindy back roads with my car yet.
