Hey man, u did excellent for a first timer at the track. Even autos can be tricky to be driven fast at the track.

Remember he barely beat you the second time. The 1st time you killed him then the 6mt "I missed a gear" excuses started. J/k Vlad

Did you check out the drag forum?

I posted the conversion for the elevation of CS 1200ft and you guys both ran 13's corrected!!

I think with the DA of 2400 both of your times were 13.7.

The guy in houston that ran a 13.5 in the stock 07 sedan his DA was -1700!!!

where is the correction formula or calculator?... I briefly checked the site and couldn’t find it... one of the FX guys said it's like .2 fasted when corrected - but I'm sure it all depends on the actual ET... my corrected get's me sub 14 - but we all want sub 14 uncorrected!!!!

^You got it man! I wish that photo had come out sharper, that would make an amazing poster. This one was my favorite shot of the day. I'm blowing it up and putting it on my wall at work.

+++1. I have told myself, as soon as I hit 13s with street tires and 91 octane on that track, im never going back to drag again.

Here is some video of the Infinitis and Nissans that I saw run.

California Speedway Videos 3/08/08

I will have video of the other cars as well as some of the vintage racers up later. Enjoy

speaking of octane... I'm taking the car back to Shawn to see if he can get more aggressive on race gas.... the car didn’t feel any stronger than it does wit 91. In fact when we stopped at Chevron to fuel up on the way home, I had 2 gallons of 109 and filled the rest with 91 - I swear the car feels stronger (and that a bunch more weight too)... I still question whether the ECU goes directly to the new map... Shawn says it does and I have no reason to doubt him - but I've heard others say the ECU learns to the new map... According to Shawn it’s in the way it's tuned (I forget specifically what the diff is)...

Next time I'm running 91 performance map.

I'm with you - the goal is sub 14 the way I run on street... once that happens, then I'll run a bunch on DRs and other tweaks to see how much lower I can get...

great vids! I like how you followed down track and got the ET & speed on the boards!

If you got my car I hope its the 14.1 @100mph! the others are mediocre at best...

Thanks for posting!
