Quote: yeah - I went to Levitz in Cerritios = closed and empty Also Wickes is going out of biz - they don't have ****.

I'd love to go tot he track, but can't... have too many things going on right now... next time hopefully.
I beleive I went to the one in Hawthorne? Don't remember the city, but it's off the 105 and Crenshaw.

And hopefully next time. This is the only time I can make it since Spring Break. I'm off of school mid-May, so I'll be sure to hit up Irwindale then as well.

Just got back home. Tired like a ****...

Quite happy with my results. My best was an 8.767 @ 82.49mph and the 60ftr was 2.049.

I got in 5 runs from the day/night and I was there from 4:15-10pm. It was packed! Time went by pretty quick since I was kicking it with Henry and Philip. Darn you Philip! looks like there wont be a next time

Either way, glad you guys were able to come out.

Had fun. My first run on the strip in almost 6 months

My times weren't great. But not bad either. Guess I'll need cooler weather & better launches to get where I wan't (less than 9.00).

Thanks for coming out Phillip! Too bad you're not going to be joining us at the drag strip anymore. Best wishes on your new future!

nice results!!! That is much more in line with what I figured your car would do (as opposed to Fontana's results).

Had a great time guys. Traffic was horrible getting there, took me close to 2 hours coming from west LA. Anyway, got a best time of 8.5x at 84.xx mph (don’t have my slip with me and I can’t remember the exact numbers)

Wahoooo beat the M3 again, jk Wally . Yeah sucks we can’t race again, I guess we can compare time slips once you go FI so we can see how much you would have crushed me .

Thanks Henry, Irwindale being a slight downgrade doesn’t seem to be much fun for 6mt but your launches seemed to be solid the one time I watched. Get a Vortech SC, that will surely get you under the 9s .

thanks! Kinda hard to use the launch control at Irwindale since at the staging are there's a slight forward motion and I have to use the brakes where as CS, there's no rolling so I could just concentrate on the launch control. I just need more practice.

so looks like I wont be going FI on the M3 anymore.. Remember our convo? I went ahead and ended up buying that 335i sedan I told you guys about.

I'll post a link with pics most likely tomorrow.
